About us
Sovereign Grace Baptist Church of Topeka is a particular (Reformed) Baptist congregation in the Topeka–Tecumseh area. We gather for Lord’s Day worship from 10 a.m. to noon, preach Christ from the Scriptures, sing the psalms without musical instruments, and hold to the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith as a faithful summary of biblical doctrine. Visitors seeking a confessional Baptist church in northeast Kansas are welcome to worship with us.

Our Beliefs
As a confessional Baptist church in Kansas, we believe and teach from God’s word, including these doctrines:
- The supremacy of preaching
- The authority and sufficiency of the Scriptures
- Salvation of sinners by the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ
- Justification by faith alone
- Total depravity and inability of man
- The election of grace
- The necessity of repentance, of turning away from all sin
- Effectual calling
- Preservation and perseverance of true believers
- Believers’ baptism by immersion
- The law of God as a rule of life
- Absolute predestination of all things
